The Military Diet Experience

Updated: Feb 9

Who doesn't love a challenge? I always see or hear people trying workout challenges, new diets, no make-up challenge, or even a no heat on your hair challenge. I love seeing people trying them, I especially love to see a group doing a challenge together! It's a way to empower and motivate each other to keep pushing through when they may fell like giving up!

When promoting a workout challenge by Soul Health Chronicles, I always encourage my followers to invite a friend to join them, it makes it more fun and you have a free accountability partner.

In August I decided to try the military diet and asked a friend to join me! We went shopping and held each other accountable the entire time! The Military diet, known as the 3-day diet, is a low-calorie diet designed to promote up to 10 pounds of weight loss in 1 week.

We made the substitution of veggie salmon patties instead of hot dogs because, that just wasn't happening here. I must say the 3 day military diet went pretty good! When I found myself hungry in between meals, I would drink water to become full. I'm not a fan of cottage cheese but I did eat it, what an acquired taste, ya'll got that. I found myself looking forward to eating dinner even more during this diet.

Overall I enjoyed the Military diet and would try it again, I encourage you to try challenges often and invite a friend to join you. Challenges are meant to stretch you out of your norm, and surprise you, it's beneficial to have an accountability so you can motivate and empower each other to finish strong! Be on the lookout from new workout challenges from Soul Health Chronicles, make sure to invite your friends and family to join you; challenge one another and make it fun!

Below are photos of a few of the meals along with my friends results, SHC loves social media and real life participation.

As always work on becoming the best version of yourself, you are your only competition!
