The power of saying 'yes'

I claimed 2017 as my year of saying yes to things that scare me, things I knew I needed to face in order to grow personally and professionally, just overall life growth. In the beginning of the year it was a little rocky for me. I would say yes but then back out, thinking I wasn't good enough, qualified enough, the art of self sabotage. After a few months of realizing that I am the only one who's holding me back, I decided to finally take the plunge and stop making excuses! I began networking more, sharing my ideas with people, made a career change, and started to work on this blog!

One major challenge I had is doing live videos related to my blog and health and wellness journey. Sure I talk on camera on social media and can face time my friends and loved ones, but it's a whole different world when it's related to your business and brand. To tackle this fear I decided to say yes to a live stream challenge. We had the task of sharing our business ideas and picking a topic we would like to discuss on live stream and then actually go live! When I heard we had to go live I wasn't going to at first, already had an excuse in my head to be honest. Just when I was about to walk away from a challenge, I thought about how hard I have been working on my growth, so why would I miss the chance to grow my blog and brand?

So ladies and gentleman I did it and you know what, it felt great! I realized it wasn't as bad as I imagined and opened my eyes to the ways I can implement live stream into my blog to make subjects more visual and interactive. I want to share the live stream video with you. It is focused on 5 ways that you can workout at home! https://www.pscp.tv/SoulHealthChronicles/1RDGlmroYjNJL?t=3s

My aim in sharing this is to encourage people to says yes to situations, opportunities, and challenges that may scare you! The way to work on becoming the best version of yourself is to try new things, you will truly surprise yourself. And if you fail or it doesn't turn out in your favor, its a learning opportunity to work on your craft, so keep trying!

That's why it's called a journey, to travel from one place to another, being stagnant is just not the way!

As always, work on becoming the best version of yourself, you are your only competition!
